Privacy notice

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This notice explains how we handle personal data on this website (bohworks.com). It is written to meet the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It covers the website only. The Boh app has its own privacy notice.

1. Who is responsible

Boostplus GmbH, Hirtenhofring 30, 6005 Luzern, Switzerland, is responsible for the processing described here. For any privacy question or request, email hello@bohworks.com.

2. What we collect and why

When you visit the website. Our hosting provider processes technical data that every website needs to deliver pages and keep them secure, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. We also use the hosting provider’s built-in analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. This analytics uses no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you: your IP address and browser are combined into a value that changes and is deleted every day, so we only see totals. Legal basis under the GDPR: our legitimate interest in running and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you ask to discuss a pilot. We collect your name, work email and organisation, and, if you choose to give them, your role, your organisation’s size and your message. We use these details only to reply to you and discuss a pilot. Legal basis under the GDPR: steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you sign up for updates. We collect your email address and, if you choose, what you are interested in as. We use these details only to send you news about Boh and early access. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in each email or by writing to us. Legal basis under the GDPR: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

When you email us. We use your email address and the content of your message to reply.

Please do not include health information or other sensitive details in the message field. We do not need them to answer your enquiry.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers who process data for us under contract and only on our instructions:

  • Framer B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands: website hosting, analytics and form handling.

  • Google: Google Sheets, where we store form submissions.

  • MXroute LLC, United States: email hosting, to receive and answer emails sent to hello@bohworks.com.

4. Data transferred abroad

Our service providers may process data outside Switzerland, in the European Union and in the United States. The EU offers a level of data protection that Switzerland recognises as adequate. Google is certified under the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks. Emails you send us are stored by our email provider in the United States; we transfer them there to receive and answer your message.

5. How long we keep data

  • Pilot enquiries: deleted 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we enter into a contract with you.

  • Update sign-ups: kept until you unsubscribe.

  • Analytics: stored only as anonymous totals.

  • Emails: kept as long as needed to deal with your request, and longer only where the law requires it.

6. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising.

7. Links to other websites

Our footer links to our LinkedIn page. When you follow that link, LinkedIn’s own privacy policy applies. We do not embed LinkedIn or other social media plugins on this website.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your personal data, and ask us to correct or delete it. Under the GDPR you can also ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and receive your data in a portable format. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bohworks.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch). In the EU you can contact the authority in the country where you live or work.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised access.

10. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our website or services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
